What It’s Like Working at Physicians Resources LTD

We can trace our humble beginnings back to the 1980’s when we were a small company specializing in the emerging medical billing and RCM industry. Fast forward to today and we are a leading RCM company. We stand out for many reasons, such as our passion for solving complex problems and improving healthcare billing for patients and practices alike. However, what makes PRL special is our people. We employ over 80 people in our brand new office in Merrimack, NH, striving to provide them with the best career possible.

Integrity, Commitment, and Innovation are the values that guide us each day. These values also define what kind of organization we are and the high standards in place for ourselves and each other. Our employees’ success and well-being is a top priority. Working at PRL is more than just a job, it’s a calling to do meaningful work that helps patients and practices.

We Work in a Great Environment Every Day

Our employees enjoy a new, custom-designed office every day at work. At the beginning of 2019, we moved into our new space in Merrimack. Brian Hall, PRL’s President and COO, wanted an intentional space conducive to social interaction and collaboration that balances an open workplace with privacy. Everyone has their own work space on the main floor of the office: we collaborate and interact all day, making work engaging and productive. We also have private conference rooms for use when privacy or extra focus is required. Learn more about our office space here.

We pride ourselves on teamwork and collaboration, two things that we need in order to help our customers effectively. Managing RCM is complicated and involves many people across several departments. Our collaborative culture streamlines our workflow because often times any person in the office is just a short walk – or sometimes a slide in a chair – away! This quick and seamless communication, combined with our culture and values, sets us apart from many other employers out there. Plus, it’s easier to solve unexpected challenges and prevent mistakes. We always work, learn, and grow together at PRL!

We Do More Than Just Work – We Give!

Working at PRL is more than a job and we enjoy engaging in other activities outside of our daily responsibilities. We celebrate major holidays with office-wide parties. Also, we host open houses and job fairs where our staff can bring friends from their professional network to learn about our company. In fact, we encourage our employees to recruit friends from their network; we’ve found that recruiting a friend bolsters morale and productivity. That’s what matters; making our employees feel heard, appreciated, and included.

We give back – our team regularly does community service throughout New Hampshire. PRL partners with several local organizations including Big Brother Big Sister of Greater Nashua and Marguerite’s Place. Brian Hall is greatly involved with this fantastic group that provides shelter and resources for homeless women and children. Last year, we participated in two charity events for Marguerite’s Place: rappelling off the tallest building in Nashua sponsored by United Way and sending gifts to two families for Christmas. We encourage our employees to volunteer in the community by offering a paid volunteer program.

We Have a Stake in Your Career

There are so many benefits to working at PRL, it’s almost impossible to include all of them. So, if there’s one final thing you should know about working at our company, it’s that we care about you. We offer many opportunities for additional education, training, and career development. We focus less on someone’s exact qualifications or experience and more on whether they can learn and grow with proper support and guidance. Many of us started out in a different position than where we are today. It’s one of the many ways we make our employees feel they’re valued and that they have a stake in the future of PRL.

We are seeking innovative, ambitious, and outgoing candidates who share our values of integrity, commitment, and innovation to join our team. This is an opportunity to do meaningful work in a fast-paced, exciting environment where you will be on the front line of improving RCM, patient experience, and the way physician practices and health systems operate today.
